I used to be well into Reddit a few years back, should really re-join the fold! haha

Happens to me with adblock and adverts, occasionally they come back. I just uninstall adblcok and reinstall, that usually works and takes about 2/3 mins.

Switch to ublock origin, adblock plus is trash.

There's nothing altruistic about using their 'unobtrusive advertising' gimmick - all that means is the companies with the biggest wallets still get their ads through.

Block all of them - don't discriminate. if you really want to see ads on a ad-supported site, whitelist it. Don't let the tool make these decisions for you though, as it isn't operating in your best interests.
