I've you click on the settings down on the bottom right you are taken to privacy policy. I've just opted out, and no ads.

Well that’s just made me install an ad blocker.
Well done Haymarket.
Same here. Never felt the need for one before, but I do now.
And me.

I wonder whether Haymarket have ever considered offering an ad-free option to users for a nominal amount like £1 a month or something. I think I'd pay that much to lose the adverts. It's worth it for the help and entertainment this site has provided over the years.
PH will be costing a lot to host and maintain so they have to earn money somehow. These ads are ugly but they're a necessary evil.
No, I don't work for Haymarket. I'm just a realist hehe

WTaF, I didn't mind the small ads, this screws up the page rendering completely.

Ad blocker installed, thanks PH.

It’s a shame really, I want to support PHs, it’s given me lots of enjoyment over the years, I’d even pay for an add free subscription but these massive adds just encourage more and more people to install ad blockers.

I have ABP and it was showing the sponsored content. A wee look in the options and there is a box for "allow acceptable ads" I unchecked that and the sponsored content went away

It’s not being caught by the abp on my iPhone, which is annoying.

Anyone from the actual dev team (or what’s left of it) actually going to comment?

Dev has effectively been halted apart from serious issues now.

Well done Haymarket...
