This is now being investigated and will hopefully be resolved very soon. The issue is with one of our advertisers, so as soon as we know who it is, it'll be switched off.
Tell the bosses to stop being greedy and get rid of all of the low quality ads you lot have allowed on the site in recent months, I strongly suspect once the spammy click-baity pig swill ste at the bottom of the page goes your problem will be history. Our ads team thought they'd identified the ad supplier but unfortunately as a number of you are still seeing these ads, that isn't the case.
We're not yet able to replicate the issue which makes it more difficult to identify, but they'll continue to investigate today and I'll report back ASAP.
Edit: Our ads team think they've identified the issue, so this should now be fixed. So please do let us know if you're still seeing any of these ads.

I get an occasional McAfee warning and it advises me the site is trying to redirect to http://next$$$optim.com/script/pa… (remove the $ signs for the actual address) and I guess there is more beyond the full stops.
Just had it happen so its still there.

Still getting the same on my iPhone, Safari, literally happens every 5 mins while using the forums.
It’s been doing it for maybe a week now.
This is pretty bad form. No other forums etc I’ve been on have ever done this on my iPhone.
If you let this low level scummy ad stuff onto your domain then you need to have people who know how to control it.
No doubt IT told you as much, but a well-built director knows better?
PH swirls a bit further down the toilet.
Is it legal to scrape the forum DB and go elsewhere?
