May I ask which version of the Internet Explorer are you using?
People still use IE????

I just checked and it seems people still do (albeit quite small percentages)

tirolo - thanks for the reply. As a commercial dev myself (although not web) I absolutely appreciate the position you're coming from in terms of having to prioritise issues and see what happens.

I'm going to try digging through my user settings to see if it can be resolved that way. If not then I would happily let a dev have use of my machine and account remotely to see if they can glean any details for a workaround.

ETA: I've been through every setting on the accounts page and tried altering it, I've also made sure the info fields are all populated with valid info and no change.
That's very kind! Thank you very much! Actually I've been talking to another users already that provided us enough info for us to get to the bottom of this. But again, many thanks for being so willing to help.

You are right your settings might be unrelated to this and until we find some time to improve the issues we already found with our servers it's unlikely we will see any improvements I'm afraid. But hey, I'm positive soon the team will have some new members which will increase our capacity and hopefully free us up to tackle this. Thanks again!
Unfortunately I don't think it's settings-related - I created a separate dummy user account and tested from there, still the same.

Perhaps it's ISP or routing related? Very odd. Anyway, the offer stands if you want someone to look at it in future.

Still happening for me too using Chrome on Windows.

Oddly it doesn't seem to be a problem using the Samsung browser on Android.

Still getting it constantly with Brave on Android and Firefox on Win 10.

Annoying poxy thing. It seems there are an awful lot of different combinations of software this is happening on but somehow only relating to PH.

Still doing this. IPhone (12.4.1) Safari go to site and looks like it’s not logged in (all threads and no preferences). Select the person icon top right and it goes to preferences page, not log in page. Don’t do anything but go to site again and all is fine (favourites are shown).

Close down Safari then reopen and rinse and repeat.

This has been happening to me when accessing via phone but not via PC.

Android
Chrome

I don't have to enter any credentials though, just click on sign in. The page just updates.

Also, OT but assume the adverts@pistonheads.com address in the Password Reset email I didn't request is legit.

I read that twice - it reads like you think it is legit

I very much doubt it...............

I think the email received is legit, the request to reset isn't.

Does it on mine, never used to so the web amateurs have been at the site again.

Don't you test anything to see if something has been broken?

The web development car crash that is the pistonheads forum continues..
