The need to agree to the PH privacy policy is popping up every time I make a selection on PH - renders the whole site unusable to me - what’s going on? Surely my privacy preferences should be stored the first time and we move on.

We love it as much as you, trust me.

We are legally required to ask every 30 days by the IAB. Boring read here: https://iabeurope.eu/tcf-2-0/

We did just have to update it to be compliant with their TCF 2.0 policy. Are you being asked more often than 30 days?

I’m being asked every time I change screen on PH! To send this reply, I’ve been asked 4 times so far...

I've just updated how the whole thing works. Any better?

If not, what browser are you on?

None of us at PH have this issue and I've checked across the major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari).

Those that are experiencing the issue, what browser are you using?

Chrome, Safari (Mac), iPad and iPhone

Aren't you able to check our accounts to see how many times we're having to accept these terms and when? If not - I'm not sure how useful it is to you anyway in your "legal obligations"

Nope. That isn't possible.

Any chance you're seeing this after clicking a link in Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc? One theory I have is you're seeing this in in-app browsers which create a new session, much like a private window, each time they're opened. In that scenario you will always see the privacy banner.

Definitely not in-app browsers.

Yep. Every time I click on a new page. This has happened since yesterday.

(iPad safari)

Most annoying.

This just happened for me (ipad, chrome). I can sort of understand the “legal” need for it, but I *always* decline consent ie opt out. I thought that the ICO rules (or is it guidance?) state that opting out was supposed to be the default option.. but all my choices were preselected as opt-in. What’s that all about?

I'm getting this on *every page refresh*

Much as I like this site (and use it every day), if this continues, I'll stop using it and find something else. Having a periodic check is one thing, every single view? No!

It’s the same my end, driving me around the bend. Don’t think I’ll bother coming in again unless I need an answer for something.

Nice to see PH management don’t seem particularly concerned by it.
