What a trip taking it to New Zealand!! How does that work? Are you able to take it over as a temporary import?

Nice chap at the NZ embassy was very helpful a few months back and explained that a deposit may be required and a cartnet which is a document allowing you to temporarily take the car in without officially importing it.

Obiwan..I’d love an SVJ but I’m not in that league unfortunately. My Murcielago which I doubt is worth much more than a sack of carrots will have to do.

I like to imagine that one day down the line the life, the stories, and the 'celebrity' of it will add to the value rather than detract.
