Looking at the price this sold for seems to indicates that the market has picked up on the Diablo??

Rust and poor paint and corroded wheels. Interior was fine.

Hi,

Sorry for slow reply. What's your username on there? I've just logged on in such a long time, and have a tone on PMs regarding Diablo service work and updates etc.

ESTIMATE £180,000-£225,000

one of only 33 RHD SVs ?? - sounds a little low to me ?, there are nine 99SVs for a start in the UK, excluding other markets

Just sold at Brooklands Historics on Saturday for £98,560 hammer price so with 10% commission added (subject to VAT i beleive) = just over £110k for a LHD car with 50k miles on the clock, blue interior (not to everyone's taste) and early high dash binnacle which makes seeing out 'difficult' to say the least.

183 - 1991 Lamborghini Diablo

Registration J754 DYE
Chassis Number ZA90E07A0NLA12526
Engine Number ZA90E07A0NLA12526
Odometer reading 80,201 km

Hammer Sold - £98,560

Presented in Lamborghini Super Fly Yellow with contrasting blue leather interior, this Diablo looks every part the loud example Lamborghinis should be. Having been originally supplied to the UAE before being imported to the UK in 2003, this car has been enjoyed but loved throughout its tenure. It has been serviced comprehensively throughout its ownership by renowned specialists Carrera Sport and Bob Houghton as detailed in the stamped maintenance book. Recently serviced and with a new MoT test certificate until December 2016 together with handbooks, workshop manual and a history file detailing the previous maintenance, this car was treasured by the vendor as one of the centre pieces of his collection. Without question, this stunning Italian Sportscar is one of the world's true supercars and is offered with a very tempting estimate given their relative scarcity in today's market.

That's strong money surely.......?
