Barn-Find Diablo
Discussion
Out for a stroll in East London this afternoon and stumbled across an abandoned garage (or at least didn’t appear to be doing any business, as there was an old Morris Minor, Triumph Stag and various other 50’s cars gathering dust) along with this in the corner:
Have checked the Reg out and it’s legit - given the amount of dust gathering, it looks like it’s been there for some time!

See below. Doubt its an ongoing project...

If it's the one that I think it is (can't be too many barn find Diablo's in East London!), the company is called Driving Force and they're based along Lea Bridge Road.
I've seen it a few times and it always looked to me like the roof had fallen in on the showroom so it could be for insurance reason that they don't want to sell? I could be wrong though! You can actually see the Lambo on Google maps as well:

Assuming it's real, it's a bit of a waste.
Parking a Diablo so close to the road with so little security and protection in that part of London seems risky.
Perhaps it has been "stored" for someone locally and the engine is bust and they can't afford or know how to repair it. Perhaps the company is in trouble and needs to focus resources (cash) elsewhere. Could be any number of reasons for the abandonment.

Amazes me how people forget that they own these cars... hearing stories of barn find Ferrari's, Cobra's and Lambo's - I am like how does it just slip your mind? This lambo is probably worth more now in this dire condition that what the guy may have paid 10 years ago when a great condition one bottomed out in prices. Reckon this is about 95k worth of car here with 10k worth of works to get it back to glory again.Have checked the Reg out and it’s legit - given the amount of dust gathering, it looks like it’s been there for some time!
What is the reg plate?

Hmmm From this image I recon this car has a colourful history, reads something like:What is the reg plate?
" One party boy owner from new, has been securely (reads, impounded) stored since the late 1990's and exhibits signs of 'doing the party circuit (reads, still covered in coke)'
