Morning all,

Need some help please.

I'm in the process of a winter project which is going well. It's a refresh/refurb of the brakes including pads, calipers etc.

I'm struggling to find any handbrake pads except for the obscenely priced lambo ones at £450!!! It's only a set of parking brake pads!!! Does anyone know what VW or Audi the oem ones are from? Or what aftermarket pads might fit?

Cheers in advance.

Pete

They're a Brembo part, I bought some a few years ago. I can't find the details now, but I have a feeling the Brembo part number was on the pad. I needed to replace them, as one of the handbrake cables had seized and worn the pads out. You should be able to find a match from a Brembo pad catalogue anyway, as they have the pad outlines pictured.

Same as Ferrari 360 and Viper. Get some EBC DP1719 ones off Ebay around £40.

Update.....

The Brembo ones are purely for Lambos and are silly expensive. Brembo themselves can't supply them or help!!! Eurospares only have the official pads too unfortunately.

The EBC ones (from their website) would appear to be too big following their dimensions.

I have found some from APRacing (which are owned by Bremdo) which are perfect and as they are priced per axel, a set of 4 pads is £72 compared to Lambo's £450!!!
