Well the dream is over it seems. I went and sat in an SV today and don't fit, I am 6 foot 6. The dealer was even tinkering with the screws on the bottom to lean the seat back but it didn't make enough difference. In the Huracan I have the seats are not as deep so I can slide my bum forwards and of course recline the seat so I get away with it.

I am sure I have read about custom adjustments to these seats does anyone know anything about it as Lamborghini won't do it themselves?

Topjay is your man for that question given his previous comment. Alternatively this one at Romans:

https://www.romansinternational.com/used-vehicle-d...

has the comfort seats which I believe are fully adjustable including for height and tilt.

But what a car, i love every aspect apart from the seats. Every journey is a special occasion, the noise is particularly intoxicating. The roof is a bit of a faff though.

What’s the point then. I just drove from Huddersfield back to Surrey in my Smart and similar issues, sore bum and thighs.

I’d go Murcielago all day long.

The Aventador is easier to drive for sure but based on what you said you wanted the car for, the Murcielago is a much more engaging, visceral, analogue experience. I miss mine!

Also, a much safer place to park £300K. There were only 28 RHD SVs built. I think only 7 UK registered.

Race seats just need spacers to recline them and then they are pretty good, costs virtually nothing to do this and is really easy, without they are just too upright and not an easy driving position.

I have comfort in my SVJ and race in SV and since reclining them I prefer them to the comfort

SV had a massive factory software update roughly a year ago and it really changes it for the better, early software was not great, now they are way less jerky and you can now use corsa on the road which before you couldn’t because it was too unpleasant unless driving hard, you can now upshift at any point in the Rev range without it trying to put you through the windscreen instead of only at max rpm. SV has really evolved through updates and is not the car it was when it first arrived it’s much better now and more useable.

SV is the most special in my opinion,

S is probably the best car though all things considered, but won’t give you the same feeling rattling around being slightly uncomfortable in a carbon box.
Any pics of the spacers ? I may need to do it.

269 for this SV. Incredible deal for this basically a brand new SV in a very desirable spec. It also has the gloss exterior carbon.

Is it still an incredible deal when you consider that an S coupe can be picked up for £40k less? You lose some exclusivity however it's objectively a better car and certainly easier to live with. I'm trying to evaluate the choice myself currently.

I was never a fan of the S, the looks don't do it for me and looks too soft imo.The S is just another Aventador variant whereas the SV is special, it's rare and at some point will start to go up in value.

I also noticed this SV has leather sleeves to cover the seat belt latch which I most likely aftermarket unless it was a AdP option but it shows that whoever owned this car really loved it.

Personally I think the S drives better, both gearshift and more importantly maneuverability with 4WS are a big step up. Production numbers are low for the S too.

Side note, the orange SV Birmingham has sold. It was priced right, I believe around 255ish so someone got a pretty good deal but it saw around for a while so they might have paid less.

And I agree with the AV S been a better car which is why the SVJ is such a big improvement over other Aventador's. I think it boils down to what you want from a car, if you want raw and a track focused car go for the SV but if you want a cruiser and more refined car the AV S is the one to get. I still think long term the SV will be the car to own because at some point they will start to go up in value.
