Hello
I just bought 5 tickets for a raffle to win an LP700 and was wondering what the running costs for it would be like so I know whether to keep it or not when I win. Not bothered about tax, fuel, insurance, just mechanical.
I have a few Italian car specialists nearby that used to look after my former Granturismo (Autofincinna, SMDG, Giallo)
Am used to running cars like 997, R8 etc, some of which have cost substantially more than you'd expect for these sorts of cars, my R8 in the last 2 years, about £8k just on servicing, maintenance & repairs, that's about my limit really & I am guessing the LP700 would be substantially above this?
Of course my chances of winning are remote but I am just wondering about it really out of interest. Will post some pics up if I win of course

Always wondered what sort of idiot enters these competitions...
How polite! It’s just a bit of fun for £40, people win them every week and the odds are decent, it’s quite a cheap way of buying a new car actually when you win, for example 25x tickets for a 2018 M5 Competition for £70 gives me a 1 in 400 chance and I need a new station / dump car as my A5 doesn’t have 620 BHP. I’m the type of idiot who enters...and won ??Picked up probably the same Aventador that he’s talking about. 4 tickets at £9.99 is all it cost me.
Are you terrified of the running costs?
Are you going to take the wrap off? The orange to me looks soooo much nicer than the blue...
Got any comments about ownership or pics to share?

Good effort mate! Maybe the idiot is the person who paid £299,960 more than you for it!

Nah, wouldn’t have kept it if I was terrified..would be pointless and ruin the experience. Are you terrified of the running costs?

A client of mine is a manager of the Lamborghini and Ferrari dealer here so I’ve already spoken to him regarding servicing etc and he said he’ll look after me.
I don’t like the orange to be honest. I’m getting the satin blue redone in 2 weeks as it’s not the best job in places.
In terms of ownership...it’s crazy how many people like a Lamborghini. Old and young, male and female. Loads and loads of people take pictures and stare, but it has the Capristo exhaust so it is loud to be fair.
Fuel I don’t take much notice off but I don’t feel like it’s the worst. I have a Cadillac Escalade which is worse on fuel...mixed driving of course.
I don’t know how to upload pictures on here.

In 1990 I idiotically put my name and address on the back of an envelope and for the cost of a stamp I entered a free competition in the Daily Express to win a Peugeot 205 GTI Ok, it wasn't a Lamborghini but the letter telling me I'd won was a pleasant (and welcome) surprise.
Got to be in it to win it.
