Hi All,

Apologies in advance, as I am sure that this will have been covered numerous times before!!!.......

Charging the battery on a Murcielago (trickle charge or standard battery charger) positive to the left-hand terminal below the battery isolator switch and negative to a suitable earthing point etc......

However, should the battery isolater switch be to the 'ON' postion or 'Off' ? .... if I have it in the 'Off' position the battery does not charge, and yet 'conventional wisdom' seems to suggest that having the battery isloator in the 'ON' position whilst charging is, potentially, damaging to the car's electrical system? ......

Thanks in advance.....

If you want to charge your car battery, the battery isolator switch needs to be in the ON position. You can read how to do it correctly on batterytools.net . There you can find all information you need about car batteries, but in my opinion, you should buy a car jumper if you often need to charge your car battery or a universal power adapter. These will instrument will help you charge the battery even if you are not home, or in a specialized place, so you will be able to engine your car and go where you wanted until this problem appears again.
