Why hasn't it sold? If I bought one how easily would it be to move it on at the right price? and what is the right price, with so few its difficult to tell
Hardly any dealers are writing chegues at the moment much preferring S.O.R ,the dealer is free from committing themselfs financiallyand the owner will get a higher figure returned than just selling to the dealer, can suit both parties, problem is the higher the price returned
then add the dealers profit margin can make the car unsalable. Hexagon are self funded and have deep pockets so they may well own that
Diablo which could be better as they only look at a profit margin they would need to return where the private owner may have a attachment
to the car which you will have to pay for.
Only a guess but i think you would be looking at nearer £110/£125k for a dealer to write out a cheque for this car with no customer in mind .
Probably leave it at the same price and if it takes a year to sell they have made a killing but also in a position to reduce it if they
need to. Different mind set to buying the V12 classic Lamboghini's to the regular ones, Nobody gets up that morning and suddenly decides
they want a Diablo , it's usually been on that long time wish list driven buy passion rather than logic .
You can't give the buyer a excuse to walk away to think about it, Car needs to be as perfect as you can get so a genuine buyer
will find it hard to talk away especially if he/she has viewed some average cars beforehand.
Don't think they are the easiest car to sell but if you find it hard to walk away so will somebody else.
You've bought more cars than most dealers in the last few months so you must be coming a expert by now.

What about this beauty.
1993 looks like a large binnacle car - £165,000.
Located in Spain and the pictures are 12 years old, oh and it doesn't work - needs recommissioning.!!
What is it really worth - half that ??
Does anybody else think that one or two of the photos on that listing look (poorly) photoshopped? What about this beauty.

Looks a nice unmessed with Diablo. Watched it on" Harry's Garage" last year ,he loved it. no power steering and R.W.D,Perfect less to fix, The purists will love this car being one of the first.
Gone from Oxford to Scotland ,Couldn't be any further but what a great first drive home.

You’d think a little more time and effort would go into the description... rat rod said:

Not keen on the higher binnacle though. I believe that they can be converted to the later lower ones, though that would be messing with what looks like an original car.

I always hope that one day someone will buy one of these and it won't be the best investment on the planet and they'll sue the original dealer!!
I have had the same thought. Closely followed by the thought I spend too much time litigating!Ferruccio said:
