I pulled out, lies about full Lamborghini history and constant excuses as to why they’ve not done what they said they would.

Aside from the false advertising, if they behave like that before balance is paid then god knows what any breakage would be met with!

I could just go with main dealer but no idea if it’d be any better having read so many stories, maybe just go private Murci, get it inspected and hope for the best..

Feel like walking away from the dream for a bit tbh, have some fun in the cars I’ve got and come back to it after summer.. I wanted a good buying experience and it looks like that’s not really possible, or not right now anyway.
I've all for buying privately these days. Gives a good idea of the type of previous owner and get an inspection done for peace of mind.

Lots of shyster dealers trying to make big margins on dodgy cars.

You’re looking for a unicorn being sold by Mother Teresa; you may have wait.

I doubt that there’s a handful of Murcies in the U.K. with a full Lamborghini service history.
There may be none.

I have a very similar experience.

I live in Switzerland, discussed with several dealers when looking for my Aventador. Several had exactly what I was looking for but deal was not closed because at one point they acted so unprofessional that I had the same thinking as you. If they act like this before I pay, what will it be afterwards…

I finally had to buy it in Germany where I found the level of professionalism (nothing fancy really, just answering emails and holding promises…)

I am wondering if it’s not a Lambo thing, I did not have this “experience” with my Ferrari and Aston.
