Aventador S Sensonum Sound System

I recently replaced my LP740 that had a standard sound system to the Sensonum and am appalled as how bad the upgraded system sounds! It's actually worse than the standard system which I find extremely strange. The Sensonum sounds like all singers are singing in the bathroom with a strange echo effect. Lyrics are almost drowned out on any song I play.

Anyone with a Sensonum able to comment? The dealer says they have checked it all out and it's as intended. Makes me wonder if my previous car had upgraded aftermarket speakers behind the grill.

And yes I know - listen to the V12 blah blah - I do but Im just wondering why the sound system sounds so weird!

As an ex Aventador S owner I can confirm that's exactly how the Sensonum system sounds. The working theory at the time was that Lamborghini borrowed the DSP from an Audi but only installed half the required speakers.

I never resolved the issue but, had I kept the car, I would have gone aftermarket.

Mine has it, seems to announce all cameras through waze extremely clearly

No idea on music though as ive never tried.

Strangely though (as it had no usb connection) i needed phone prompts when i collected it for my 700 mile drive home, so i bought one of those JBL bluetooth speakers from the services and i was amazed at how good it sounded in the cabin, probably because its so space limited, i know what good sound is meant to be as i have an S class with the 3d Burmester.

Maybe there’s an even better BT speaker you can just fit between the seats, save messing with the stereo etc, always handy having a BT speaker anyway..
