it's possibly a good thing not to get a first car anyway, it seems the first delivered Performante is actually slower than the standard car at least in this test:

Honestly find drag races to be the most pointless comparisons between any cars. Tell you nothing about how they feel to drive, and for how long can you keep a fast car at full throttle on the road?
This one is even more pointless - the extra power is about 16bhp, and the claimed weight saving in max lightened spec is irrelevant at 40kg. Add in all the options referred to such as seats, but wheels etc, and you wouldn’t expect any difference.
The proof of the perf, or otherwise, will be in how it rides and handles on the road with new suspension etc.

+1.

Lamborghini marketed the Urus Performante for it's handling and there's an article from a couple years back about Lamborghini not caring about 0-60 times. I don't blame them, there's EV's that cost 1/3 the price that can do 0-60 in under 4 seconds.

Don't think the exposed carbon hood was available on the very early cars?

I think it was on the first few (if you ordered it of course ;-) ), but it’s certainly not available now, for many months coming afaik..

I could have had exposed roof and bonnet but ordered a terrible spec instead ;-)

Not surprising given say a facelift Urus S will sell for 50k + over list.

Just Locked in my car for Sept / Oct build. Currently no visible Carbon Bonnet, no full exterior Carbon pack.. ( just the side skirts missing, now high gloss only ) front, rear, roof all still ok in Carbon. No Red door handles, which i would not have picked as gone for Orange stitch. Extended Stitch also not an option ( back of fronts seats and door panels. )

Code - AIJIKA. Bit boring in Grigio Keres but it's my daily so not too shouty.....

Been told I can lock in my spec this month for Q4 2023 as well or to go to the factory in July and get a Q1 2024 car - in two minds as would love to spec the car at the factory as never done this before.

Is it worth waiting and getting this done at the factory or should I be taking the earliest car I can get (not filipping!)

My mate went to the factory to spec his Huracan Tecnica, but he doesn't want it until March 24, said the weekend and experience was great. Sept - Oct delivery for me is perfect timing so opted to Spec in UK and get it sooner rather than later....

Your dealer can fix a factory trip any time

Usually the case but been told that the factory is undergoing renovation specifcally the ad personum area and also given the 60th anniversary there are limited slots available this year.

Drove one last week.

Feels incredible. Can’t wait to get it. Wasn’t sure I would like the drive, given likely to be firmer / harsher but feels brilliant.

Hopefully mine arrives for September or sooner.

My dealer is telling me that there are the following additional charges on the invoice which are mandatory and not included in list - can anyone confirm this is correct?

Delivery Charge: £4083.33 - a charge to bring the car down from the factory to the UK
Urus Kit - £1927.50 - Rubber mats, Boot Liner, Branded Dust Caps, Charger, Car Cover, Lambo lights in doors

Anyone else get this?
