Used to have it on VHS, I'll have to see if I can find it. Yes, I saw Lena's website ages ago and it looks like the whole film is there in 8 parts.http://lena-headey.com/videos/thumbnails.php?album...

I recently purchased from Amazon the full box set of the original 1980s 'Miami Vice' series, containing 110 episodes on 32 discs, essentially the complete series, and found two episodes featuring Lamborghinis.
Please note that I've not watched all the episodes as yet, but recollect, from watching the series in the 1980s, that there may be a few more episodes featuring Lamborghinis.
So the two Miami Vice episodes where I can confirm that Lamborghini cars are featured are:
'Bought and paid for' featuring a Lamborghini Countach:
Miami Vice - Season 2 - 'Bought and paid for' which features a white Countach which in the chase sequence switches between a non-bumper variant to a bumper variant whilst the chase is in progress, I can only assume poor editing was to blame or the original footage wasn't good enough - perhaps the original Countach broke down? - I remember seeing the same errors where it was first aired on the TV so it hasn't been edited since which is good.
'Phill the Shill' featuring a white Lamborghini Jalpa 3.5:
Miami Vice - Season 2 - 'Phill the Shill' driving a white Lamborghini Jalpa 3.5 driven by none other than Phil Collins the pop star, who in this particular episode is a bit of a con man. There are several sequences of the Jalpa being parked up and driven. Highly amusing to watch and Phil definitely fits the part. Brilliant.

Pretty sure there is another lambo is another espiode owned by some chinese gang memebers. For the life of me I can't recall if a Countach or Jalpa?!*!?!Please note that I've not watched all the episodes as yet, but recollect, from watching the series in the 1980s, that there may be a few more episodes featuring Lamborghinis.

Edit: quick google suggests the episode is Golden Triangle. And it's a white Countach. I don't think it sees much air time and most scenes are quite dark/night time

There was a white Countach in one episode where they were messing around with air horns. There is definitely a black Jalpa in another episode.Cheers

'classic car club' (from 2005) is repeated all this week on Quest freeview channel 38. episodes at 5pm and 5.30pm. Wednesday 5th feb episode has a countach test drive.
Also in the same series Ed China visited a UK Lamborghini collector, who had a Urraco, Jalpa, Jarama and 3 espada's. I can't find a link on youtube, but hopefully it will get repeated if you missed it this week. The countach was test driven by penny Mallory
The series is a bit cheesy, and the valuations are 9 years out of date (Urraco £7-20k, Jalpa under £20k - those were the days!)

Yes I watched and recorded that particular episode because it featured my favourite car of all time, namely the Countach being driven by Penny Mallory, and also my next best favourite the Porsche 928 S4, and in another episode which I also watched and recorded, was when Ed China visited the lucky owner of the Urraco, Jalpa and Espadas. I might actually have saved them on Sky + but my other half tends to delete things so that she can record British Bake Off or other such progs, then blames it on the kids - how come it is only my stuff being accidentally deleted!
EDIT: yes I still have them recorded on my Sky + box

Quite right I remember watching this in the 1980s but I've not watched that particular episode as yet on DVD.Adam B said:
Very useful that. Have the same box set, not sure it has aged that well as a series, but was wondering which one the white countach was in
Pleased you can find the relevant episode now. In the 1980s I thought the Countach footage was brilliant because it was so very rare to see a supercar on the road so to actually see a Countach racing was fantastic. Remember watching the Cannonball film and being thrilled to bits with the beginning sequence of the Countach racing plod.As for the original Miami Vice series ageing, I think it's done remarkably well apart from the suits they were wearing. The cars and houses look fantastic. Sure the police station is somewhat underworked, but hey, this is 1980s Miami Vice.

And I remember that Top Gear did a Lamborghini Special featuring a green Miura SV, reg number BWA 532G being driven by Richard Hammond, and a blue Countach LP400 S, reg number ADV 31X being driven by James May, along with a load of other more modern Lamborghini supercars. Brilliant episode and well worth watching.

I know the Miura, but it's not an SV. That was a very enjoyable episode.Edited by rich888 on Saturday 8th February 23:37

Apologies, I thought the Miura had plain headlamps whilst the Miura SV had eyelashes to differentiate the models, have learned something new today. Was a fantastic episode nonetheless, especially watching James trying to park the Countach.
Driving a Countach must be akin to driving around in a goldfish bowl.
