Also in the same series Ed China visited a UK Lamborghini collector, who had a Urraco, Jalpa, Jarama and 3 espada's. I can't find a link on youtube, but hopefully it will get repeated if you missed it this week.

The countach was test driven by penny Mallory

The series is a bit cheesy, and the valuations are 9 years out of date (Urraco £7-20k, Jalpa under £20k - those were the days!)
That was Edd China's first drive in a Lamborghini iirc. The interviewee is Ant Hawkes. I bought that Jalpa from him in 2007 (and drove over 300 miles home in the worst rain I've ever experienced!) smile

Diablo in the remake, SE30 I think
Yip, viola SE30

Beautiful woman in that scene too, [not jolie]
Cage's own SE30 as well I believe.

I know the Miura, but it's not an SV. That was a very enjoyable episode.
Apologies, I thought the Miura had plain headlamps whilst the Miura SV had eyelashes to differentiate the models, have learned something new today.

Was a fantastic episode nonetheless, especially watching James trying to park the Countach.

Driving a Countach must be akin to driving around in a goldfish bowl.
It's the other way around, the SV didn't have the "eyelashes". Ferruccio Lamborghini's own SV did have the "eyelashes" though.

Diablo in Bedazzled (Elizabeth Hurley version, not Pete and Dud.)
I thought that was a replica, could be wrong but just didn't look right to me.
Yes, it's a replica.

Is it! He's got good taste in motors, I'm still looking for the SE wheels for mine.

Cage doesn't own it these days, but he has a good taste in cars.

I would imagine the SE30 wheels would be extremely hard to find. Would O.Z. be able to make a set or would that be ridiculously expensive?

I've seen some photos of your car and the details of the work you are doing. Great patience you must have! It's a very unusual colour but it suits the car.

Thanks Sab

I can get brand new front SE wheels no problem, but cannot get the rears NEW or used. Lamborghini Factory told me they no longer have them available. I'm not sure about O.Z directly but doubt they will help.

Yeah patience is needed if working on these cars, I'm learning as I go.

There was a white Countach in one episode where they were messing around with air horns. There is definitely a black Jalpa in another episode.
I can confirm it's 'Golden Triangle' (Part 2) which features the white Countach S from approx 24 mins in.

Screenshots enclosed:

I haven't spotted the black Jalpa, but haven't watched all the episodes as yet because there are 110 episodes to watch on 32 DVDs in this Miami Vice box set which will take quite some time to trawl through. And for info, am very pleased I purchased the box set rather than individual DVDs.

Oh, and thank you for enlightening me about the 'eyelashes' on the Miura and SV because I need to get my facts straight and had always thought it was the other way around!

He also owned a much more valuable Miura SVJ, although maybe the IRS owns it now!!

I am pretty sure that the car that is in the driving sequence is not the same one seen parked up and smashed - but I have only seen the film once. The stupid US front bumpers were missing from the road driving scene I thought... but I could be wrong (again !)

Your right, whilst it is driving normally it is this car,

Another car with the US bumpers is driving in the scenes where it is getting smashed up.

That's what I would have thought too, but apparently they wanted it to look 100% authentic so they used a real one. Should be taken out & shot!
