I grew up with B143 AHM. My father maintained the car for its owner in Bristol from around 1985 to early 1990s. I was the boy who had the ultimate 80s poster car sat out side his house! Paul, I would be happy to help with any history and have lots of negatives and photos somewhere. I'm now in New Zealand.

Number 25: JAK35ON has been with me in Australia since 2008. The climate here is much better for its health.
The original registration was B143 AHM and it was white with white.
It was later (2001?) painted red and received registration JAK35ON. It can be seen on the cover of Classic and Sports Car magazine March 2003 issue in this form.
It was returned to its original colour and registration around 2005.
I bought it in 2008 and had it registered in Melbourne on Victorian plates WIL000. Now that it is over 25 years old I have it on historic club plates 18937H.
Robert,
Thanks for your efforts in tracking the history of these cars. I will go through the records that came with the car and pass on as much useful information as I can.
Thanks
Paul

Have some great photos and memories. Always wondered what happened to it. So glad it's in good hands. I've moved to NZ now so not too far away! Pick a colour, any colour - green.
There were two RHD green Anniversary Countachs - one is Emerald Green and one was a darker green.
There is also a light green RHD Countach which wears the number plate B1USH. Apologies - this is the best pic I could find of this one. Photo is from when Portman linked up with Bramshaw and was in Bournmouth for a while.

Hello Dogleg
I have not logged in to this forum for ages and the day I do I see your post about the Countach in my garage. That made my day.
I will pm you my email so we can make contact. As you are nearby (by our definition) you may be in Melbourne some day and you can meet up with the old girl.
Regards
Paul

I can't remember whether this info has been posted on here before but there are some gorgeous photographs taken by Dan Pluck and posted onto Flickr of a Countach meet from Sept 2016, the link to the photos is: https://www.flickr.com/photos/pluckphoto/albums/72...

The issue with this LP400 is that it has been 'restored' incorrectly in non original livery...I know for garage queen cars like this people crave originality but if it was being stripped back to metal and resprayed anyway I wonder how much that impacts the price - new owner could strip back and repaint for what £20k, which is a fraction of the value?
