Did anyone see the latest seen through glass on yiu tube where he goes to a body shop and there is a black countach bring prepared for paint. Whose is that? Is it Mike pulled recently sold black/black?

Could well be Mikes black car ,it certainly won't be the one from Historics Auction unless

there's a Super Man restorer, out there,

Have seen Mikes car several times last being at his house ,although i never closely inspected it

from what i could see it looked immaculate but if ocd you can find fault with anything.

Dare say if someone on here we may well find out.,

Well....if you have F920 OYR, F924OYR, F925OYR and F928OYR, looks like we need a complete set, so you need:

F919OYR (at Goodwood)
F922OYR (randomly drove past me in Lots Road in London)
F923OYR
....and F926OYR (at Silverstone Historic Festival subsequently wing removed and destroyed I believe)

Sorry to say that F927OYR is a red Jalpa and F921OYR is red, but I can't find it immediately! Well, 9/10 'aint bad.

MORE PHOTOS PLEASE!!!
Rob,
was F919OYR repainted black?
what about F921OYR? - I wasn't able to identify a car which could fit yet

btw F927OYR is Jalpa JLA12417/#384 1989 reg F927OYR Whyte, Silhouette wheels, I have a copy of the V5 sheet.
I f I can read correct reg. 21st October 1988

What is a bit strange is the one before, could it be that this is F921 ? should a 1989 be a G-Number?
JLA12416/#406 1988 Rosso Siviglia champagne UK
RHD 13.2.1989 reg F220RHX Strock
Chassis Number ZA9J00000JLA12416 is this RED car with YELLOW Leather interior, currently believed to be residing in CHINA, BEIJING .

The number behind the chassis is the consignment number, both were consigned on 29.07.1988.

Is that a re-trim in that colour? Can't say I like it very much.

Hi Raymond, yes F919OYR was repainted from red to black. F921 is a red Countach - I have a photo of it, but don’t know which car it is! Robert

Remember throwing a copy of that out amongst others just before the builders moved in,

Had to be brutal ,tried to give them away but nobody wanted them, confused

Even lost a few i had planned on keeping in the confusion .grumpy

Still got a shinny new wall and windows instead,

I had a clear out a couple of years ago but still cling on to some '60s and '70s Motorsport mags, they take up a bit of room but I like the musty smell of them, my other half hates it hehe

I've been trying (honest) not to buy any more car books but in the last fortnight I've bought some more old Alfa, Maser and Ferrari ones. Oops.

Interesting that the cover price is 45p.
Call it £5 today, so x11.
Not dissimilar to car prices?

Generally I'd say not far off, but certain classics are way above their equivalent prices now, such as DB Astons, E-Types etc. Maseratis of the same period like 3500GTs, Mistrals and Sebrings are only fairly recently catching up though.

Some more period Countach front covers....
