I purchased the Muira book for Christmas, as well as the 288GTO book. I like the Muira book, it is very well done, but I would not rate the 288GTO book as high. Over 1/3 of the book is just copies of the owners manual and some other documentation. I find these pages too small to read with my eyesight.

unfortunately out of print a long time ago, but I can tell you the quality and content is superb, by far the best single car book ever written in my opinion.

I'd be interested in hearing people's recommendations for the diablo book please ...
