Wow. Thanks Maurice. That's two out of four mysteries.....Er.....I may as well ask. There was a Jersey red Anniversary J6268, a red QV EE042AK, a LHD white QV Q854RYT ... and finally a navy blue Anniversary (1 of two in Acapulco Blue) delivered to Portman in December 1989. Any ideas? MauriceFontana said:
Very rare sight. This is the London Motorshow Q.V. in maroon with white piped burgundy, which was sold off the stand to Trinidad and Tobago, where it still lives. P80 is its Trinidad registration. It was only ever seen in the UK for servicing (and repair it would seem)!MauriceFontana said:

Can I ask if you have photos of four cars that I have never seen a photo of by any chance? A black RHD Anniversary G470VYE...
A black Anniversary if it had cream interior I think that belonged to a one time Lambo club member Terry Byrne who worked at Mole Valley TVR in Chessington and I think its on Pistons right now.1993 London

Snapper, if you, MaserCoupe, Martin350 or RobertW etc. want me to run your negatives through my scanner I would be happy to do so. Got a little time on my hands and bought an expensive professional grade scanner plus Photoshop - makes all the difference!!!
I'd be interested to see how much better the photos look.It might take me a little while to sort out any negatives and get them to you, I literally have thousands and they're mostly all jumbled up, but I'll see what I can do...

Hello MaserCoupe -- What lovely photographs, What lovely memories . You are very lucky to have had such 1st hand experience with all these wonderful cars , and thank you for posting on this thread , which will bring these experiences alive for many other people , and also keep it for posterity.
I'm slowly working my way through the recent additions to this thread , but couldn't resist jumping in at this point about your 16.24 post :
''The year before at the same venue they did the same event for a hand over of an 88Spec QV skirted car F920OYR or F924OYR red car rear wing, tan interior possibly red piping like Paths old car which was wingless. Great stuff!!!! Man you really can't out Countach a Countach. I think on both occasions Mike Pullen turned up in his low body car which he still has with the WUGUN reg . ''
I think that the car that you are talking about here is F924OYR.
Your description exactly fits with the pictures of F924OYR in Dron's book (Crowood Press )---924 had a rear wing.
F920OYR (which I am lucky enough to still be the custodian of ) , was delivered wingless.
The first , and only other owner of F920OYR (chassis 12399 ) was a gentleman called Nigel Holland , and he had had either 4 or 5 Countachs prior to 920.He was kind enough to give me the bottle of red Lamborghini that was presented to him on delivery of 920 , and this bottle of now- vinegar remains unopened.
I thought that the Countach rear wings were expensive options , added on at the very last stages of manufacture , but Nigel told me that when speccing 920 in 1987 , the rear wing was a no-cost option (at least to him ) .
He chose not to have the rear wing fitted , purely for the aesthetics .
I'd better get back to reading the rest of the thread , so as not to get left behind the rest of the class
Seems a reasonably good (and shameless) opportunity to post again one my snaps I'm slowly working my way through the recent additions to this thread , but couldn't resist jumping in at this point about your 16.24 post :

Voxy and Snapper Seven ---- Thank you both for those fantastic photos of F920OYR -- you and they have really made my day .
Are you able to put a year to when these photographs were taken ?
F920OYR remains exactly as it was delivered in 1988 -- neither Nigel Holland or I have modified it in any way .

Definitely Castle Combe, but I don’t recollect the year. Let me try and find the negatives when I’m next in the UK (likely late August) - I’ll also try and get a negative scan (rather than photo of a photo) for you.Are you able to put a year to when these photographs were taken ?
