LM002 at Heathmans, God my arms still hurt from washing it!!!! Would love to know where this is! What a Monster of a car,Jeep, SUV, Off roader or what ever you wanna call it!! RAMBO LAMBO never was a word so fitting for this automobile. First SUV to the world courtesy of Santa Agata Bolognese...and boy did they get it right, OTT!!! Love it!
Some really great photographs posted the last few days including this one above. More to come during the course of today.
1987 Portman
1992 Silverstone Historic Festival
One of the prettiest and sexiest cars ever put on Gods Green Earth, the Miura SV a Marcello Gandini Masterpiece! Just 24 years old when he designed this stunner! Imagine how this must have looked to the public in the 1960's. Lines to die for..PHWOAR!
Here is HRD41 (the Hugh Dundas car) in 1986 on location for the SuperCar classics spread. One of Seven Right Hand Drives to come to the UK. I'll have to check, but I think the Previous reg was PCO222

Brentford circa 1986, Reg.no C740BYX.....Another fabulous Countach Quattrovalvole awaiting delivery to it's new owner. How amazing and special an event this must have been after many, many months of waiting.
I'll always remember the indexing snippet notes at the back of "Car" magazine when reading on the Testarossa....."Cumbersome in town, devastating elsewhere, but no match for the Countach!"...LOL!!! If you're gonna have a crazy car, you might as well have the craziest one of the lot! How so very true and appropriate.

Heathmans of London Circa late1984....an 82 Silver Countach S, a red 84 5000S and a yellow ultra rare Silhouette
Have a soft spot for the silver Countach S 152X because it was the first one I saw in the flesh when it was brand new and parked in the showroom at Cooper Cars in Syston, Leicester, was absolutely gorgeous. Am sure it was 1981 when I took the photos, though was unregistered at that point. Have posted the photos on here somewhere!Apparently the new owner parked it in his hotel for all to see before it was sold on it's next owner who took me for a blast round in it a few years later.
Fast forward a few years and I nearly bought in the mid 1990s when I spotted a private advert in the Sunday Times advertised for 35K, I went down to look at it near Tower Bridge in London. It looked very tired and dusty when it emerged from the underground car-park compared to how I remembered it - there was a hosepipe ban on at the time, (the owner mentioned on the phone that it had sat in a museum for a few years so I was expecting it to be immaculate), the owner did take me a spin out in it which was quite spectacular, especially when he did a 'U' turn near Tower Bridge.
I later spotted it for sale a few months later by a dealer up north who was selling it for £30K which was too late for me because I'd already committed my money elsewhere - think I went and bought a Range Rover. Was pretty gutted because if the dealer was advertising it for £30K I'm guessing he would have paid £25K or less for it... damn...
Seem to recollect it was advertised for sale in South Africa a few years ago with quite a few spare parts including a replacement gear lever, and a pair of mole drips being used in the meantime, that must have been fun when changing gear!
Oh well...

Similar thing happened to me with LHV40X, that car was like "Christine" in the car movie! Damn it, it kept frittering in and out of different periods of my life and hey presto it became a £300K plus car several years ago..You know I love you, but I can't afford you, stop stalking me!!! LOL!!!

Hew's car was originally LHD, converted to RHD, the same time another Miura went RHD to LHD - strange or what! Here is HRD41 (the Hugh Dundas car) in 1986 on location for the SuperCar classics spread.
