I wonder why on earth he changed it to brown!?
Did he change the colour or is this just the light? I'd never even thought it changed colour. rich888 said:

This is a fabulous car, that was originally Frank Bradley's prior to becoming Mike's long termer.. Great low body Car, a stunner!!IMG_0005 by snapper seven, on Flickr
This one is a lot more natural and faithful to the colour.
Another example here.

Gone a bit quiet. Grief I've got gazillions of photos. Any more from Portman Lamborghini in their workshop or cars parked outside anyone?
So..there were many companies with amazing stocklists suddenly appearing in the late 1980s, eager to take advantage of the rapidly rising supercar prices. One was a company called (I think) Central London Classics. I turn up at their address in a Mews near Eaton Square and charm them into letting me take photos. They send me up the stairs to a loft.....
Yes, a Countach I have seen before, but also a Ferrari 288GTO in the corner.
The light is terrible, but I can just see.....
A Lamborghini Uracco and the Lamborghini Flying Star....in a weird badly-lit loft in Belgravia. Good grief....

You all must be on holiday....
Portman Lamborghini went under in London, then cars were serviced at various houses where parts were shipped, and Portman reappeared in several places - here from December 1992, the workshop at Portman Lamborghini next to Maranello Concessionaires in the Thorpe Industrial Estate....
Portman had a red LHD Diablo demonstrator (I'm sure), then RHD Diablo demonstrators H789YYW and this RHD one H790YYW, then Rod Stewart's red car J991CYR, then J992CYR etc up to J996CYR at least.

I am searching for a photograph of the Jarama on the 1971 Earls Court show. I now own this Jarama (restoration project) and it would be great to have such a photograph to compliment it's history file. I've exhausted Google and purchased motor magazines of the era that covered the show without any luck. Of course most attention was directed at the more sporty models, but maybe some of the keen photographers on this thread may by chance have something?

Can you post what colour or colours the car has been and any reg now it has had? May be able to dig out some photos of it for you - is it RHD?
Hi, The car was originally white with a burgundy interior and would have been this colour combination at the time of the 1971 show. It subsequently featured as the press test car for "Motor" magazine and was still that colour then. We think it was returned to the factory at some point for refurbishment and was resprayed brown (Bob the Cop on here remembers driving it back from the factory when it was Brown). Later in it's life it was changed to blue then finally yellow. It is RHD and the reg is ELB420J. Being a very early one it has no front wing vents.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

The only car that appears to match your description is 10024 consigned to Lamborghini London on 12/10/70 shortly before the 1970 Earls Court Show... P300V8 said:

Yes, that is the car - sorry I incorrectly stated1971 earls court show when I should have said the 1970 show. In my defence, I am away from all my reference material.Regards Andy
I'm thoroughly enjoying this thread; I've been a huge fan of Lamborghini since my Dad bought me a Corgi Miura when I was a kid.
I suddenly realised I'd not posted the pictures below; they were taken at Brands Hatch on the 3rd of July 2011, (so not the 90's, & hence off-topic); I wonder where this car is now? The poor thing was in a bit of a state with the exhaust tips missing & clear signs of rot on the rear clamshell.
RHD with LHD wipers.
