Some blast from the past names there!
Last saw Mike Perry at Mike Pullen’s garage.
I think Peter Leonard-Morgan was selling Aston Martins?
And last saw Peter Hay in a hotel in the Cotswolds when he was still LCUK chairman.
Hopefully they’re all still giving it the beans!
Really enjoy these Lambo threads , brightens the day up not like these all to many doom and gloom ones, lucky i haven't got a loaded gun to hand after i read them,Only depressing thing is all these names from the past reminds me just how old i really am, bought a couple of cars from Mike Perry at George Street and last saw him in his new premises in Chelsea must have been shorty after Portmans ,think it may have been Lots road near Chelsea Harbour from memory, not sure how long he was there for, Last saw Peter Leonard-Morgan on the Lamborghini stand at Earls Court with a white Diablo on display but somehow knew he went and sold Aston Martins after so mayby i saw him after that, memory not what it was , Last saw Mlke Pullen at the end of last summer when he was having a lazy day at home ,that reminds me i need to return his Inspection camera when we are allowed to come out and play again,, Last saw Mike Perry at Mike Pullen’s garage.

Mr Westall,When you asked me to provide you with some images of rarely seen cars on Pistonheads I happily obliged. I then stopped posting because people were reproducing photographs from my collection for their own benefit (without permission).
I have already had to politely ask you and Joe Sackey to stop posting photographs from my collection on Lamborghini Chat and since then I have been informed (overnight) you are reproducing them again (this time on Instagram) once again without credit.
Please stop.
The photographs are free to view on my website but it seems that is just not enough for some people.

I did publish one (maybe more I don't recall) photos of yours on LamborghiniChat, but they were published crediting supercarnostalgia.com, and I was slightly surprised that you didn't want this free advertising, but that's up to you so I respect your wishes.
I also fully sympathise with you not wanting everyone to reproduce you photos everywhere. I decided the only way to stop this was to put "c Robert Westall" on every single photo of mine, which is ridiculously time-consuming for me, but the only way I have found to not have to worry at all about this.
ORIGINAL POST:
.....and as I say to everyone, happy to remove any photos people object to. Which of these four do you claim?
Also, you have said, “them” - almost all my photos are my own, so what are the others?

If you want to keep [hounding - a bit pathetic] being rude [better] to people when you feel your photos are used by others, please go ahead. It is an unpleasant way to behave and does neither you not the supercarnostalgia brand any credit.
I did this for while (over 20 of my photos are used in a very well known book without credit), but the only way I have found to stop this is to write a copyright on every photo I publish. It’s labour intensive, but the only way I have found.
Also it means every photo becomes an advertisement for you.

All four lifted from here or my website and published by you within the last four weeks. You know where they came from and did not ask for permission or give credit. By contrast several people have approached me and asked permission to re-publish which I have happily granted. It seems manners simply don't matter so some.
As for hounding you... pathetic. No wonder some people don't want to contribute to forums.
That's the last I have to say on the matter.

Out of interest do you ask permission of the owners to display the registration plates? As for hounding you... pathetic. No wonder some people don't want to contribute to forums.

As an owner, I have had that issue with people before.

I refuse to be as thoroughly unpleasant and accusatory as you. Many of the things you say are untrue.
I have one more thing to say about this, which I hope is of interest.

I see that original 1980 suffix letter issue TOO 510W is now up for auction - https://collectingcars.com/for-sale/too-510w-numbe...
That plate looked absolutely amazing on Tim Dutton's Lamborghini Countach LP400S back in 1981
I've no idea how they got that Lamborghini off that transporter as those ramps look far too steep!

Haha, they were probably attempting to reverse it onto the ramps!
I remember the magazine article about this car which I thought was quite amusing, I got the feeling he wasn't overly impressed with it and thought the colour was a bit odd, but in the 1980s you were lucky to see any type of supercar on the road so I was more than happy to read about a Countach and drool over the pics.
As regards to comments made about photographs appearing on the forum and other websites, having studied internet design many years ago I was reminded by my tutor that if I didn't want my photos appearing on the internet then I shouldn't upload them in the first place, because once they are on the net they are on for ever. Be aware that no matter what safeguards are put in place by webmasters to block right-click copy, they will be copied and they will be reposted.

I have never had anyone ask about the number plates. Not sure about anyone else? I have to say I get really cross when people blank out the number plates, so I can't identify the car!!As an owner, I have had that issue with people before.

Absolutely not needed, a car on the street is public - therefore no need to cover the plates.raymondqv said:

I get the legal position but still?

Taking a photo of David Joliffe’s shop - it’s not van Gogh?
You are dead right there, when i first went to George Street i was looking for this plate glass showroom window and pulled up outside what i thought was a newsagents with 3 Lamborghini's in it, To be honest i much prefer it to the polished marble grand showrooms of today, much cosier, Edited by rat rod on Wednesday 22 April 21:21

I wonder where that has been hiding? I have checked the DVLA site occasionally over the years to see what it resided on currently but nothing came up? Not a bad price so far. I like plates that make you smile!SLH_777 said:
Thankyou so much for posting that picture of my 80s dream car, its another one I haven't seen before.As for MauriceFontana, I do hope you reconsider and keep kindly posting pics, otherwise I would not have this one which still makes me weak at the knees aged 52 and and one-quarter;
