Jalpa value any idea what this car is worth?

Hi all, I am really struggling to decide what this car is worth in the real market. UK supplied RHD and a 1985 car with 5 owners, 75000 Kilometres so around 45000 miles.
Very original, but starting to look like it could do with a repaint. I can see that there are none for sale in the UK other than one at a dealer that has been for sale for a long time. If you assume no faults etc what do you think is a realistic value for a private purchase? Any pointers would be very much appreciated.

Like you I cannot get my head around classic Lamborghini prices at the moment.
The old adage of it is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it, comes to mind, but in this case it is about condition and desireability.
The one for sale in the UK dealer at £109K is in my opinion overpriced, but then what do I know other than I would not pay this for a Jalpa.
I can tell you that six months ago Classic Car put the top price for a Jalpa at £62K from a dealer...............but how times have changed in the market.
The same car magazine listed this as £18K for a rough example and £45K for a mint private sale.
I have driven a Jalpa and several Urraco and as a classic I would prefer an older car. Urraco prices are known as there are a few advertised at the moment ranging from £60K to £100K. Is the Jalpa a desireable car?
You state that the paintwork looks tired, what about the rest of the car? You can be sure that you will need deep pockets to get this car right.
Have you seen this car for sale, are you thinking of buying it, or do you actually own this car?

Hi Bob, thanks for the pointers, the car is mechanically on the button, it recently did a 200 mile round trip at the weekend and no issues. Colin Clarke sorted it out years ago (sodium valves et all) and its been used sparingly since, but with regular servicing. It ran down to Switzerland a few years ago as well on a trip to the Alps. Paint wise its just going a bit flat and where water sits on the rear fin it has caused it to bubble slightly. I hear one went for 86k at auction in the UK earlier this year but I cant find it, any ideas?
I cannot find anything about the £86K car at auction.
If you intend to sell your car maybe the auction is the route to take.
Their experts will at least be able to put a value to the car.
It looks to me that with a fresh paint job and a clean bill of health on the mechanical side, you might achieve up to £80K if someone is looking for a 45000 mile Jalpa.
However, the USA 25000 mile car at £85K has been on the market for a while and the UK car at £109K is a bit ambitious and does not seem to have aroused interest.
It is all down to what you need to achieve and do you want to spend any money on the car?

I believe that is the same car that Bonhams sold in 2015 for £74,300 at the Goodwood Members Meeting. I saw it and it was good but not as nice as my car for example.https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/22718/lot/12/

Here's some of mine from a few years back. Since this was taken the only change was the replacement of the throttle cable that had frayed and then snapped. The new one has made a big difference in terms of responsiveness. Besides that, I like to see a photo of a nice Lamborghini. Thanks in anticipation..............
