There are two commonly used factory pre-production cars that would look black from a distance (there are a number more but these two are seen regularly): P1 OOA and P1 OOV.

Just saw P1OOV at the Channel Tunnel, nice car but think I would prefer an F1......

That's PP3 - one of only two or three P1 that the factory have actually retained.

Good choice on taking the F1. You could get 4 or 5 P1 for the same money, I gather!
