Does owning a supercar make you arrogant?

I was on a track day yesterday with a Lotus, lots of fun, there was also a 12C.

I thought it may be good to chat with a fellow owner however, he turned out to be an arrogant, rude and ignorant tw@.

what is wrong with being polite, I have no issue with anyone asking questions, showing appreciation etc, but to be treated as if I was dirt, to feel like I am a pleb, honestly, he would not look at me, had a huge ego, treated me as if I did not deserve to talk to him, after all, I was in a Lotus.

Anyway, rant over.

Have you tried it on "track track" settings yet? No answer, ignored me.

Answer, "the steering is loose, I blame Lewis Hamilton, if Jenson Button.........."

And generally tried to have a conversation.

Needless to say, he still thinks I am "JUST" a Lotus Elise owner, didn't see the point in trying any further, and I was genuinely interested.

Is this experience going to influence your Pistonheads tag? Ash MP4 12C feels wrong to me after that? It's as bad as saying Ash Tw@

I'm sure he was just on an off day. Have many friends with them and they are all good lads.

No excuse for rudeness, I am proud to own this car and happy to discuss with anyone that asks, and not answer in an aloof manner.

Why would it influence me to change my tag? Feels right to me.
