Tony, at Foskers would be my first port of call. Totally trust worthy, and local to me which is a plus. Not sure where in the UK you are but Fosker really know there stuff.

I spoke to a Ferrari main dealer last October about them having my 355 on SOR.

The deal they offered wasn't great. Openly said 'end of season, not the time'.

I was ok with that. Said 'no worries maybe we'll talk in the Spring.'

They rang me today to ask if I'd still got it, they want to talk and have a look at the deal again.

Very surprised, its mid-Jan.

Does this mean buyers are out there?
Start here ? Then maybe Walkersport or Rardley

Beyond them it depends if you need a quick cash sale or a sensible SOR: I'm sure there are many other possibles once you make that decision - I'd guess current buy is 30 under retail

Another vote for the Ferrari Centre here, I bought my 328 through them 12 years ago and they have serviced and stored it for me ever since, can't praise them high enough.

Another vote for The Ferrari Centre. I bought my 355 through them and couldn't be happier.

A vote here for Tim Walker at Walkersport, I bought my Ferrari from him and he always was happy to help with my numpty questions. Five and a half years later he sold it for me too.

A really nice guy to deal with.

Good luck.

I'm not happy with that particular dealer.

That's why I am wondering and asking here.
What dealer?

Foskers have just sold a car for me on SOR and achieved a very good price for it.

I sold my Mondial Cabriolet recently for top money SOR through Cotswold collectors cars.

They have an eclectic mix of vehicles ranging from just a few thousand to million +

OP, I would suggest Simon Furlonger in Ashford. They've sold 2 Ferraris for me, both on SOR, and on each occasion they delivered exactly what they promised. No hassle. Nice guys to deal with. Certainly worth having a conversation.

I would try selling it privately. Advertised through the correct media you should be able to attract the right attention whilst achieving a better price than what a middle man would.

Failing that, I'd do a straight sale to a trader if you are prepared to take less money for it. SOR just doesn't sit right with me when I think about those who have been burnt.
They all seem reputable until it all goes wrong, remember Verdi?

Another vote for the Ferrari Center - they did me proud on my 550 - waited a long time for the sale though...
also Graeme Hunt in Kensington did a great job for me on a 612 and got a premium :-)
