I'm considering part-exchanging my Ferrari 355 for a 12C spider. I've been reading up on specs, but can't seem to find anyone who can answer this question for me: is it possible to open the driver's door wide enough to exit the car in a single garage? In the 355, I have to wind the driver's window down to get out with the door open as far as the wall (well, the protective pad attached to the wall) allows.

I've replied to this often as I had the same query: you need about 18-20 inches from the edge of the car to half open the door with the window down which then lets you out - given the 355 is a wide car with wide doors my sense is you should be ok so go for it (having made a physical test a condition of sale !) - this does not necessarily apply to the 540/570 which needs a larger garage door

I am considering one although my garage is 3m wide internally .
With one door fully open the car is 2.59m wide , according to the internet smile
