Unless miracles have happened at the MTC, I'd be pleasantly surprised if it was here in 8 weeks, unless it was a dealer slot already in the system. My "March" car last year, arrived in July........

Standard and sport exhaust are disappointing. MSO exhaust is brilliant (well at least on my canam).

Great config for the spider!

Hi Sarnie, it is a dealer slot car, November is the stated production month, if it turns up early Jan I will take it, if not and it is delayed by a couple of months I can cope with that too.

My 570S was delayed by two months also, all part of thee McLaren experience smile

The MSO exhaust is a double no brainier as if you specify the standard sports exhaust you have to take into consideration the price of the stealth exhaust tips which are an extra £460 on top of this.

So in summery the MSO exhaust option is only another £700 odd over the sports exhaust with the stealth tips eek

That is a bargain indeed. Would love to hear one as I think the standard sports exhaust on mine is pretty good for a turbo car and probably has a better tone than my 650S even if its not quite as loud

Thank you, I have seen the colour in the flesh and it looks fantastic, the McLaren launch cars combined it with a light cream interior which in my opinion does does not work.

Still when it arrives I will post plenty of pictures.

The MSO exhaust has another benefit of all that gold coloured heat shielding being seen through the various engine openings and back valance gaps.

When I was at the driving day at Mac Birmingham a few weeks back they had a Curaçao Blue 570 Spider.

Although I did hear a dealer person describe it as femenine smile I thought it looked stunning and really suited the car, especially in the sun.

Yes would agree with that, that’s why it needs a strong interior and the stealth finish to the wheels and the Caliper colour matching the interior colour along with the palladium roof to set it all off.

I think the best solution is just to have the internal middle section of the roof palladium and the C and A pillar and the bit adjoining them bodycolour.
Looking down from above the roof and rear deck would look great but I don't think I would go as far as making the bonnet palladium though

Yes agree on the roof, it’s in spec lock down so can’t change, difficult one this is what Ventura looks like.

I'd need to see some side-on pictures to be sure but I think you're probably right on that, assuming you mean like the Ventura one above.
