Nothing wrong with it. Just assume they actually want to sell it.

Oh. I was expecting a huge list of missing options.

It's a shame it's in Glasgow. Would like to go and see it first.

McLaren's always seem slow to sell without carbon interior upgrade hence competitive pricing.

Yes no Interior components carbon pack, and no light weight wheel option, still a nice car though.

Speaking with one of the guys at the dealership and he's trying to sell me a brand new 540C.
A brand new in stock 540C is £5k less than the 570S.

Seems like the better deal doesn't it?

Depends on the spec of the 540c, as standard the 540c does not have the carbon ceramics that the 570s have, this is a £8k plus option on a 540c, though it may not bother you. You need to compare apples with apples and all that, either one would be a fantastic cat to own.

Definitely.

It's 570 all the way but the 540 does seem a great buy.

You may not be too worried about these but no upgraded B&W sound system, or reversing camera?

The B&W sound system is a 'nice to have' rather than essential, the standard sound system (like mine) is perfectly fine, the 8 speaker system is much more adequate.

This car does have the reversing camera, you can see it on the back of the car in the rear photo, it's standard anyway IIRC.

Overall, it looks a very good buy but I'm sure they'll still have a little wriggle-room in that price.

parking sensors are optional, as is reversing camera.

reversing camera only available with parking sensors

Hopefully the lack of spec isn't going to be a massive issue when it's time to sell..

They said the list price of that car was £165k.

You're right, it is an option. It came with the 'security pack' on mine which is why they aren't listed as specific extras on the schedule which is why I though they are standard... doh!

I'm still struggling with the security package.
Do parking sensors make the car more secure?
