The driver and his passenger and the occupants in this house have had a lucky escape

Car was heading south, went through the hedge and sheered off a telegraph pole before demolishing the brick and stone front porch.
Normally a telegraph pole will stay put and slice a car in two. They are only alive because they were in a carbon tub.
Also, the driver lost it on a straight road.
It's the left pole on street view. It's actually for power but I don't know what you call it, a power pole?:
