Thanks for sharing beer

Are you following a running in regime, what does the handbook say ?

I haven’t read the handbook. Just going by what the dealership told me. Show sympathy and don’t exceed 5000rpm for the first 1000 miles then start building the Rebs up in increments and go for it.

Stunning car...but then I would be slightly biased having the same car as you & I think more or less the same spec...love your pictures, looking forward to the sun coming out & getting some better ones of mine....less frosty ones that is!
Your pics down at poole remind me of couple of years back , stayed at chewton & picked up a 488 from Meridien, would leave the family in bed at 6 am and go for a blast all down that coast line, stopping where your pics are & enjoying a costa coffee from the grocery store there!. I would like to point out that I always put my costa coffee cup in the bin, so that is not my rubbish at the kerbside in your last picture!!.fond memories, but hopefully better ones in the 720 to come

Photographers today took this, I love it!

Went to Silverstone today to give the GT3 a spin... there were three of us going so my mate drove the GT3 there and I drove the 720... even though it was only going to be parked up as the engine isn't run in yet.

Photographers wanted some moving shots of it, so took it for a couple of laps (keeping RPMs under control of course) and they came out with this... it's awesome biggrin

Going in for pre-track inspection tomorrow as it will have hit running in mileage... driving to Belgium tomorrow and taking it on Spa Wednesday biggrin

Can't wait to give this a proper blast round the track... it's immense... even in the limited capacity I've been able to play so far. It's the perfect car... it does everything so well.

It failed its inspection frown

Wasn't going to be fixed before leaving, but Hatfield are taking good care of me so no complaints at all as things happen.

The oil filter mounting housing has a small leak... better they found it now rather than dumping its oil on the track which could have been catastrophic.

It will be fixed in time for Isle of Man next weekend... was almost a blessing that I tried to bring it over here as they found this issue early and have time to fix it before IoM... the inspection would have been just before and it would probably have missed IoM.

So I took the GT3 instead... which was awesome... Spa is an awesome track and the GT3 suits it well.

My uncle's a pro photographer and dabbles with proper tin-type photography (ye-olde style).

He took this last weekend, looks awesome:
