I drive through Ascot most days and without fail always slow to go past the dealership. Lovely cars, well played.

Ok he comes some waffle and a few more pics. (maybe a long post)

Train trip sweet with my buddy who decided to join me just for the fun of it
Lovely breakfast with great service from the Virgin people, the tube connection wasn't too confusing for us northerners and the
last leg to Ascot train almost empty. Up at 04:30 as excited my lovely wife dropped us off a wakefield for 06:53 train
arrived at 10.42

A few steps across the car park to meet Steve (As Chris on hols ) he was busy doing a 570 spider hand over to a gent who was on his 7th ! Mac.

So coffee and photos of some of the 720 monsters lovely Memphis Red and interesting Grey/sliver , also a super vivid blue in the corner.
Cover off and basics again of how to get in and lock up etc, bit of paper work and during which vodaphone ring up to say tracker
is live,nice timing.
Steve takes her out noise in showroom not quite like the few minutes earlier sipder as it had sports exhaust but we loved it all the same.
A little more controls explanation,Bluetooth and Fiio Music player hook up and we leave at 12:00

Wanted to avoid a complete motorway route so A road to slough,Aylesbury etc

Told to not rev over 5,000 for 600 miles, but to ensure you go up and down the gears to vary as opposed to leting the auto
change up to highest ,economy gear and running at same revs for long periods.

Aylebury to Bicester stopped for lunch at AKeman Inn, great lunch and HUGH car park see pic miles away in corner .

Then M40 to M42 around Toll near Brum (boring Mway miles )

Then A38 and through Lichfiled.

The width concerned me in my mind i.e looks worse than Cayenne but its almost identical axle width and mirrors out
so got used to it pretty soon.

Pussy cat acceleration applied but every time you overtake on Mway from 77 (showing 72 on Tom tom ) in an instant over the ton etc. So back off quick and back to a real 72-75

Then road from Sudbury to Ashbourne what's the hell happened here 50mph and multiple Average yellow speed gantry's
in the middle of the bloody countryside with no people or houses I don't get it!
Anyway the trip was about getting home and running in so enjoyed the country side.

Then Ashbourne to Buxton similar but enjoying every moment, the steering is just so direct, incredible feel and amazingly light
its connected to ever imperfection of the asphalt.

A number of roundabouts thus far my God its ON RAILS is the front end glued down are MC P Zero's Magic? Or am I just
a wimp with circa 100 miles ever in a Mac (nice warm sunny day tyres reading 30 Celsius i think)

Buxton to Glossop now this is a B road I think narrower and bumpy as hell , following a Honda Jazz and pickup truck at 50-55
this Car is alive to steer, feel everything and its so enjoyable at these speeds, they knew this wiggly road and barley touched the brakes great fun at slow speeds.Never over 5,000 but varying gears so in lower ratios.

Then over the Moss down towards Holmfirth, 190 miles so far and selected sport for power, as you owners know its just clever
at being in the right gear in sport always above 2,000 and upto 5,000 quick manual flic when needed.

No this road is bumpy major convex and reasonably narrow up steep and down other side with mega bends.
If the 540 was alive before now its a battle to try not to overreact and battle the relentless wheel.
Bleeding Fantastic!! No yaw , road solid on rails in ever corner (perhaps I shouldn't get used to it or run it ever over 5,000)
Just planted how far do you push before a smidgen of under steer?

Without doubt the best drive I have ever done in anything over that stretch.

SO I love it !!! The lifter coped with my stupid rive and parked up, rinsed off , cooled off ,Waterproof cover on

PPF film is soon the kit has arrived, no stone chips thus far long distance away from others as much as poss.
Sorry long winded I Love it and the colour , which changes in Sun and Dull light, impossible to photo but in the flesh
Volcano or Burnt orange is Stupedous

Its nigh on impossible to capture the depth and vibrancy of 3 layer pearlescent Volcano paints with a camera in any light.

Physically in bright sunshine they are absolutely stunning

Without fail the very first thing people say about my volcano red 650S Spider is "I love the colour" followed by "what car is it"

Lovely car OP.
I don't know where your dealer gets the 5000RPM figure from. The only RPM running in figure mentioned in the manual is 2000RPM and it says you should'nt go below that or above 150MPH. Just give it some the next tme you're out OP.

thank you guys

Now then number plate about to fall off, surely they should provide a bent one?

Thinking of my sticker (vehicle graphics) man to do a white reflective background and full size
legal size, letters and stick completley on front (it will go on to the PPF once thats fitted

Has anyone already done this ?

Any Pics and how does the law react if all correct size?

Similar problem here. I went for the vinyl one but I'm looking to replace it already with a plastic one and will bend it with a heat gun.

The vinyl doesn't sit right, it's got a couple of bubbles already and just looks a bit crap.
