Current real world running costs? 12C

In my 3 years of ownership I've had replaced under warranty:
Suspension spring
HVAC control panel
Gearbox (with improved seals apparently)
and thats about it!
I've left the McWarranty and gone with a tailor made WarrantyWise warranty for £265 a month pay as you go.
Gives me £15k claim limit and covers the gearbox, media and AC up to £15k
Hopefully will now keep it for another 3 years.
Nothing comes close for the money and the 12C is really aging well in my eyes

Just had my car returned from annual service and MOT via the Rybrook transporter, and had good chat with driver. He said that of all the McLaren products, he`d have a 12c because they seem to have the least issues. Must admit I`d have thought the 650S would be pretty comparable but can see the newer cars being more troublesome given they are pushing boundaries.
I`ve not bothered with any of the warranties and so far in the 3 years of ownership the only costs have been due to me causing minor damage, other than I have had just had to have a seat sensor replaced at £2200...most of which was the removal etc of the seat. I`ve got a couple of advisories for the future, but both of which will cost less than £1k to sort if required. If the gearbox goes bang, which it won`t, I`ll take it to Thorney motorsport, unless McLaren wake up to reality.

Being new to Macca world, I would not mind if one of you could recap on known issues on 570....

...and why on earth they do not offer free service like Ferrari?
Having owned a 12 month old 570S now for just over two weeks the main issue I guess is oxidation on body panels. mine is going back next week for some warranty work to address this.Being new to Macca world, I would not mind if one of you could recap on known issues on 570....

Remarkably good on tyres (non old spec MC Corsa anyway) considering the performance. OEM pads (iron brakes) are hopeless though, barely lasted me 2-3 trackdays so changed to RS29 pagids which were much better and lasted longer (and were cheaper).Few people mention tracking their 12C - how are they on brakes and tyres?

the car's got a lot of power to grip so that's intimidating if not used to it. However in the wet it's a very different thing and for me very unnerving as the car either does a lot of intervention when you don't expect (as you try to soften up the suspension but that increases the ESC levels a lot) or the car has a lot of grip even in the wet until...it suddenly doesn't. I never really trusted the car on track in the wet (never an issue on the road tbf) but it was an awfully impressive car in the dry and very very quick.

I had this issue on my '95 Fiat Cinquecento Sporting. Never had it since then.
I cannot believe we're talking of a McLaren.

Yes 100%, its going in next week. It is a known issue, normally front wings but mine is on the lower door panels.I cannot even read that. No way.

Thanks for the input everyone has put in.
I spent some more time reading about 12c's again and I also decided to pick up the phone to John at Thorny Motorsport and he gave me some honest practical advice and costing's on parts and servicing etc and am feeling more confident with the 12c now, also dropped Jeff an email at the owners club.
I think am going to take the plunge, compare to a 430 or Gallardo its seems a better purchase.
Best sell my F type first but hopefully I be able to update by the end of the year, hoping to maybe get a decent winter buy.
