Espada identification

My Series III Espada with VIN 9808 was registered in 1974 on the Title, however a sheet supposedly from the Factory states that it was manufactured in 1976. Lamborghini UK (Polo Storico their Heritage Department) want to charge GBP1,000 (!!!) to issue the equivalent of a Heritage Certificate. Does anyone know of any other source to secure the relevant data, ie. the date of manufacture? Many thanks

Hi

Are you sure the VIn is 9808? that would place it in 1978. Is it lhd or rhd? I have some info on the UK cars and photos if you can give some more detail.
