He hasn't actually said what the problems were as far as I can see anywhere - limp home mode?
It worries me slightly as I have a similar aged 720 (mines October 2018, so model year 19) and I have had a few minor niggles (bluetooth phone not working etc) but nothing that would make me wish to reject the car so far, however these kind of things frighten me slightly!

My FF has been throwing ligts since I bought it (was about 3 years old at the time). I just ignore them nowadays as they have no ill effects best as i can tell and Ferrari never managed to get rid of them. My 355 did the same (but that was about 10 years old at the time)....
Bought my Diablo off the concessionaire after the previous owner had done that.He couldn’t afford the new engine required.
I always get the warning lights checked out on any car or bike.

Nearly every car throws a light in the first month.
You're talking about Mcl cars? Other manufacturers even Land Rover (the worst reliability car hands down for dodgy warning lights but I still love them) and I've had 3 of them over the last 15 yrs do not throw warning lights when new. 5 years after delivery you get a free Xmas tree on your dash from almost any Land Rover.

So he only had his car working as it should for 27 days in 7 or 8 months and excepted a partial refund,it goes to show how hard it is to reject a car even with consumer law on your side!!!Need to get myself on youtube...seems to be working

It’s a pity he couldn’t have thanked McLaren for not suing the crap out of him for the blatant lies told in the previous video
“ don’t buy a 720s as this is what WILL happen “ etc. Deffinitive and misleading statements
Still as long as it got his subscribers up...
Car "fixed", on sale and sold in a week. New owner is, apparently, very happy and no problems at all. Can't help but think there is far more here than we see on the surface. Problems can't have been so catastrophic if McLaren were willing to have the car back in circulation so quickly - the negative press would be dreadful if it caused the new owner issues.“ don’t buy a 720s as this is what WILL happen “ etc. Deffinitive and misleading statements
