So what is going on here, there has to be 40+ cars in that place. Could it be as simple as they are waiting for export or is it just McLaren making far too many?

Available in ANY colour so long as it's white!!!!!!! Blimey that is a SHED LOAD of cars!!! Over produced, unsold or is it customers who are worried about a shaky future economy???? Hmmmmmhhhh......Either way yes I'll take the white one over there!

quick google suggests maybe 12-15 cars a day

so a weeks out put sitting there at most?

maybe they only ship on a Friday or similar

I thought this but if they are being shipped within a few days why have them all on trickle chargers?

boat load to the Middle East make sense to ship them all together could be a few weeks between ships

I'm amazed that McLaren actually prepare shipments like that, I thought they would just send one car out at a time on it's own boat when somebody wants one, like all the other manufacturers.

That's not quite correct, many manufacturers send out in containers. Containers get sent in batches to a warehouse who then secure them into various containers for various destination. The picture might be of a week worth of cars for several countries.
Batteries need to be disconnected (hence no trickle charger) as well as the tank being completely empty (of both petrol and vapors)


ETA read again the post above, i might need a parrot smile
