Congratulations you can’t beat a Spider, I had a coupe first, but the spider is so much more of an event to drive either wither the roof down or just dropping the back window you can actually hear the exhaust barking all the way to it’s 8k red line !! Enjoy cool

Thanks Tyrell - Haven’t driven above 5k revs yet, looking forward to hearing the engine.

How often do you find you have to use the nose lift?

Stunning!

I use the nose lift going on and off my drive, it doesn't need it but it's close if I don't. And usually at big looking speed bumps

Hi I only very rarely use the nose lift, I’ve got titanium from skid plates (official McLaren accessory) fitted so they tend to take most of the minor hits.

I hardly ever used mine the first year of owning my 540, hence the damage to both rubber door seals and the front under tray... done without realising! I guess I misjudged how low the car is compared to my previous Evora. No big deal, since then if in doubt I use the lift and no more damage. Crazy not too, it takes maybe 10secs to deploy, very effective piece of kit.

No, works been even more crazy than normal and been away from home a lot. If I'd waited then probably wouldn't have bought anything.
