Ah I’ve had a better look 1641.2 I think it’s showing apologies all but in my defence I’m on holiday with dodgy WiFi , assuming those pictures were taken a while ago then if it’s currently on a paltry 3750 miles .

I think I did that more miles than that in last few months! I'd say fabulous for next owner but turbo cars really need to be driven to stay in good condition. Really not good for the car to be sat around like that for last 3 years.

Edited to say I've just looked at the price. Thats unbelievable depreciation for 3 years old and 3750 miles. Bargain of a car for someone.

Currently starting to look into a new car and 650s is one of my preferred choices , is the mileage 3750 as in the add ? I see one of the pictures shows a odometer reading of 16000 ? Unless I’m reading something wrong smile

Clot....haven’t heard that term of endearment for years. wink

Yes, you’re reading it wrong Cossie.

I'm surprised Thorney have not tried bolting on a couple of 720 S turbos, aerospace intercoolers and free flow exhaust to a 650s. With 650 better cooling properties over 720s it would be quite some car wink

Or better still a pair of turbos off a Senna smile

Mine is still for sale, dropped the price a tad. More than 12 months McLaren warranty and an immaculate and superb car.

Mileage is 3750. Some of those photos are from when AB listed it a year or so ago. I bought it with 1750 on and added miles to bring it to 3750. Was serviced by Ascot and driven straight to AB for sale. Full PPF, including windscreen, even still has all little stickers on screens, speedo, etc. so like new! I intended to take them off but left it for future owner.

Replaced with 675LT.

If I had the garage space, I’d be tempted to keep it. VR is stunning in sun.

Indeed I see many in the US have made easy tweaks to the 650s, but that only useful with fully warmed tires on sticky drag strip, or for headline numbers in the pub smile.

A stock 650 on UK roads and on track is limited by grip, especially in front. Any tweaks I’d make are in the direction of more downforce or lighter weight, like the 675 LT.

Don't let that put you off. I'm pretty sure I can't afford mine - and the longer it gets since I test drove it, the more sure I am!

Well if I sold some cars and took out a bit of finance I could have one... but what I can't afford is the subsequent divorce and child support hehe

I was lucky - the g/f was keen for me to have a "nice" spider because I tended to ignore my Alfa spider when the weather was nice and use my 360 or Aston. So the fact that I'm buying a Spider - albeit a rather expensive one - is a win as far as she's concerned.

The one slightly awkward part of the conversation was when I decided not to part-ex the 360, and to part-ex the Aston instead. She made the comment that the Aston was worth less, and "I thought you only had £x to be able to do this?".

Oh, er... I only had £x in that account, but er..... you see..... I have another account, and that had £y in it.... so, er..... I can make up the difference..... did I mention it's a Spider hunny bunny.....?

A 650 really is plenty fast enough, especially on the road. Despite everyone saying a 720 was a step on speed wise and a lot faster, to me the extra power wasn’t that noticeable.

As per above, getting second set of wheels and Trofeo tyres for summer would be best upgrade for 650.

There seems to be a bit of a pattern with this car, they have now increased the price considerably back up to £125k ????

I’ve known the car fail to sell in 3 of the garages it’s been advertised in over the last year and a bit and on two occasions it’s had the price increased????

It didn’t sell a year ago at £125k why on earth would they increase the price back up tomtgis knowing it’s been moved around at least 3 garages and still failed to sell????

I guess the next part of the pattern was for it to be marked sold again only to pop up in another independent.

Is the owner of this car on this forum?
And now it’s on eBay for 10k less, back down to £115k
Good this car is doing the rounds, it’s now appeared at a different independent for £129,990.... back up in price it goes!

I know very little in terms of spec on any Mclaren, please could someone tell me why the car below is £30k cheaper than the one further up my post?

There’s also a couple of other very low milage 650s coupe now listed for sale at £99k, which is starting to look like a lot of car for the money.

It’s because the one further up the post is black, and black cars are faster.....?

Seriously, this one does have low miles, tech pack including lift and sensors and carbon interior, which is usually what affects the pricing - so beats me.
