Astonishing where they placed the Pista..On the other hand its very refreshing to see a car mag be truthful and not follow the herd in its adulation for the latest super car..

Where did the Pista come?
Where the Ferrari crew not there?

My dealer has a 600LT that I have been wanting to demo.

My problem with the 600 is that a decently spec'd car is in barely used 720 territory.

720S is the better car, unless you want a more raw and visceral experience, in which case the 600LT will tick that box better.

I have an Alpine ‘Pure’ coming in March. Am very interested to find out how good it is.

Pista in 6th place. Sorry, but that's just ridiculous. Some hidden agenda in play here, like Autocar giving the 812 Superfast a miserable three-and-a-half star rating? EVO has lost the plot in recent years.

I think you'll be very impressed. I have had my Premiere several months, from new. It's a superb car - extremely agile, excellent performance and surprisingly smooth. The seats are outstanding and internal ''UX'' top-notch. I think the various screen settings were taken from the Nissan GTR; either way great fun. I have an F40 and F12tdf among other toys; the Alpine is no slouch in this company. Enjoy.

Good to know, thanks, especially as I seem to remember you having more than one nice car in the garage!

All the testers voted, so its a fair result
They all said the Fiesta ST was a cracking car so deserved its final place.
Surely that is the beauty of the Ecoty, that a £20k car can impress more than a £200k car, and the Lupo GTI can take part....

I’m sure price was a factor for the voters, even if not formally the case. I guess it means as road car tech gets increasingly mature, the benefits can be seen even in “normal” cars.
