It’s all largely irellevent, they’re both way faster than I’m ever going to be able to peddle them so a few tenths either way makes no odds.

Bloody fast covers them both !

If you are looking for a car to track, I would get a used 675LT. Similar price and different level of performance.
Do I not recall that the 600LT was quicker on track than 675LT according to Mclaren themselves?
I would guess that the active aero of the 675 will be quite a differentiator on track.
Quote from Autocar ...

“McLaren 600LT is faster than 488 GTB, plus exclusive pictures
New Longtail model can also beat its higher-ranking sibling, the 675LT, on some tracks; it's taken to the Goodwood hillclimb for its first outing”
It says on ‘some’ tracks. I’d be interested to know what type of tracks suit it over the 675. Maybe you need both cars just to be sure smile

Mclaren always like to suggest the new car is faster than a prior one... they also suggested more than a few times the 675 was 'as fast as a P1 on some tracks' when the 675 was announced.... I think you can reasonably expect them to say the same of the 7XXLT to the Senna when that car is announced...

My guess would be high speed tracks with very few corners.

Not that lap times are even remotely relevant to ones enjoyment of a car, but the 675 is quicker around Anglesey by 0.3 seconds

I don’t think I’m close to good enough to be extracting the last 0.3 of a second around Anglesey so I’ll just enjoy it
