It still won't catch a standard 720s around Silverstone.
And you can get a good 720s for 195K.
That is the problem with McLaren cars at the moment, the 720 is so good, they have created a problem going forward!
With slicks fitted it will..... I'm genuinely amazed that McLaren are going to warranty the car with slicks as an option tyre fit.And you can get a good 720s for 195K.

Yes and no.And you can get a good 720s for 195K.

Yes the 720S *is* that good. But then it is a Super Series car, and the 620 etc are Sports Series.
And the 7xxLT will be superior to the 720S anyway.
The real problem is for Ferrari, not McLaren. I am certain even the yet to be released F8 Tributo will be slower than the years old 720S. (The latter being lighter, at least as powerful, and has the incredible magic suspension.)
I had half a dozen laps in a 620 R on the Sllverstone GP circuit yesterday with a McLaren instructor sat next to me…..fk me what a car. Never driven a McLaren before but I thought it was just immense. Steering, stability under braking and front end grip other worldly compared to my 991.2 GT3 which has a fast road/track geo.

I'd be really interested if anyone has driven one and how they think it compares to a 600 or 675 LT/720S.
