Hi - I was in the same position until last weekend - I was looking at heavily optioned ex-McLaren 2018/19 cars for about a month but dealers didn’t move much on price (say £5-6k on a £160/170k car). I got the feeling that there really wasn’t much margin in them. I ended up cutting a deal on an unregistered car (2020MY) with much less spec but in a colour combo I loved. Tempting fate but I think for the price I paid I’ll be wearing ~£50k depreciation over three years looking at values of 2017 cars.
Would you mind sending me an email/message about what you are were able to close at?

Thank you

Excellent! what colour/spec?
Saros with black leather. Sports exhaust, orange calipers, gorilla glass, interior CF components, lift, 360 parking plus some other bits and bobs. Very close to this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BOyb0UPTNHU . Really can’t wait to pick it up.

It looks great in the pic. I wonder if it looks like this in most lighting or it’s just the photo on a grey London day

That photo and others are of the same car in SA are what prompted me to get this colour, it is quite common on the 570 but rare on the 720 but looks sensational a wonderful silver which can look more grey under some lights and gives the car a very sophisticated look. Everyone who sees it loves it.

I would add that the pic you posted is actually more representative of the colour than my crappy pics smile

That's is indeed a great colour.

Think a 720s looks better in a light colour as the design's contours are easier to see vs. dark colours.

Not really fan of this colour. And I like silver on cars.

I was almost close to buy a Track Pack 570S, but got stopped by its Blade Silver, didn’t like the bronze shade.

There isn't a bronze shade on the 720, I personally don't really like it on the 570 it looks different but on the 720 when I saw it on that SA car above it looked amazing, maybe they use different paint mix or primer which gives off the bronze look on the 570 ?

Well I can marginally see it on the first 720S picture.

It's a weird Silver, bit dull.

If it's called the same, the it should be same mix?

When ploished up this is exactly what I see and I don't see dull or bronze or weird

Best thing is they do 36 offered colours and then whatever you want through MSO so there is a colour for everyone smile

It is the same colour, on mine it changes colour from silver-grey to silver-bronze depending on the light. It needs to be kept clean otherwise it does look dull. When its spanking clean, its spanking cool
