By the time I renewed the warranty and serviced the car I was over budget.

COVID made the difference!

Surely COVID was there when you committed to buy also, in the scheme of things, the warranty and servicing are relatively minor costs?

That's a real shame for the sake of £6k on a £235k car which is like brand new and £80k under list price.
I'm sure you tried every which way with the man maths though and you have to draw a line.
Wish I had a spare £235k as I would buy it for sure of all the supercars on offer at the moment

over £7k Mclaren service and warranty plus £6k for proper PPF = 13k

It might not be a lot to some BUT it made my new toy a "tad" expensive for me at this time.

Can you tell us more on the £7k, how much was warranty and then remaining service? What was due under service?

The cost of an older car Mclaren warranty is what it is, and the service the same, Mclaren won't do any favors, but why should they, nobody else does.....

PPF is one of those things nobody wants until the first stone chip yikes

No that's fair enough £13k is a fair wedge on top and I dont suppose they would of moved much on car anyway as it had dropped over £30k recently anyway.
Still quite a few cheaper and with sub 6000 miles.
These cars are so spec dependent and MSO stuff is mega expensive
One car is up for £290k which is rich albeit a nice spec.
The white ones seem cheaper so must be the colour although personally I dont mind it but I also wouldnt choose it.
Napier green would obviously be first choice hence why not many for sale I guess.
Something will come up your lord

Yeah maybe in this uncertain market but it was only 3 years ago 675LTs were £400k so they have taken a big hit that time and seem to be bottoming out as its recognised as the McLaren to have.
Certainly would be my choice over 600LT and 720S even at £100k more.
Long term say 10 years I think they will be a collectors car

Don't say that as we are the same age..Speaking of age i recently bought my 80 year old father an used Skoda YETI 140TDI ..I was hugely impressed by it when i drove it as i was expecting mediocrity..It did everything so well i was amazed..

McLaren warranty on 675LT = £3,500, service around £900 total should be £4,400? Unless car needed additional work to get back into warranty? All McLaren & AB cars come with a warranty?

I must have been given the wrong prices then, for both the warranty last years was £5,400 (so the invoice said) and the service cost was around £1,500 (so the invoice said)

Where do you have your work done and I'll ring them.

I'm talking genuine Mclaren and not mickey mouse stuff, are you ?
