McLaren Trackway Warranty

Looking at a new McLaren and seeing the road tests and reading the reports it is difficult to see how you could reasonably and safely drive anywhere near the limit on UK roads.
Trackdays allow the limits to be at least tested and is it right to believe only McLaren allow their cars to go on track with warranty providing you have a pre and after check? Is this just for the first 3 years or does it extend to the full 10 years of available warranty from the factory.
Has anyone experienced the McLaren trackdays in their own personal cars and who is best to insure on track.
Finally are slicks allowed under warranty...........many question appreciate any feedback.
