Does anyone know the paint code or can tell me where to get a touch up quantity of Papaya orange. The original ‘flat’ colour as used on the F1 GTR?

Thanks

Really? It’s such an iconic colour that’s been used on a LOT of cars I’d have though someone might be able to get me something pretty close.

It’s the colour of my kit car’s chassis....

McLaren won't give out their paint codes and will only sell paint to their approved bodyshop repairers.

I obtained some Ventura Orange touch up paint from the US - excellent match.

Yup...there us a crowd in the U.S that sell the all the McLaren paints including the volcano colours; i heard they were pretty good matches but as i say i have only 'heard' that, so nice for Matty to confirm.

When my car required paint, only the exact amount required was sent up to the McLaren paint shop here direct from Woking; i was allowed to have about half a thimble away with me for touching up.

I was given some VO touch up paint by an official bodyshop when I was getting a quote - who I didn't have the option to use in the end.
I did try the American place, but they never got back to me.

Completely off topic.

I think I saw you in this a couple of weeks ago on the 217 as I walked past the supercar dealer .

Didn't know it was you , as I'm not a creepy stalker .

I'll wave if I see you next time .

Haha, that would have been me...there’s only about 5 in the country on the road and no others like mine! I live minutes from Romans!

As above , I saw it but don't know what it is and the pic of the rollbar was enough to guess it was the car I saw

as it passed me whilst on foot ......and I know LordBenny is local .

I'd guess at a Sylva of some sort .
