DragTimes 765LT vs Senna
That's just nuts!

We all know the Senna has more drag, and the 765LT would beat it. But it utterly annihilated it in a straight line.

Also surprising that Senna was only 5kg lighter than that 765LT (which has no additional lightweight options) and tested at about the same bhp is astonishing.

Here it is 765LT vs SF90

Rolling race left me very surprised I was not expecting that! Looks to start pulling at the top end whereas in the standing start the SF90 pulls away up till a point then isn't able to keep increasing the gap eek Both are very impressive but the Mc has me more impressed.

It is mighty impressive how it compares to the Ferrari given that the 765 has 15% less bhp and only rear wheel drive.

Incredible.

Every video that gets posted showing the capabilities of the 765 makes you wonder how McLaren manage to do what they do with rear wheel drive.

Between this and the Artura they are flying at the moment.

I absolutely love the 765LT think it’s a stunningly capable machine!

Surprising how the sf90 can win from standing start (is it 4wd??) but rolling race the Mclaren just does what it does best!

Massive achievement from Mclaren

Taking nothing away from the Mc, but this highlights the problems of all hybrid cars (particularly for this type of test) in that you are carrying the extra weight for the battery/motors but only have a short range benefit I.e. the SF90 only lasts about 4 miles on track flat out before the batteries are exhausted and become a hinderance I.e. it becomes a 760hp car lumping around the best part of 300kg of batteries and motors that aren’t contributing anything. Hence why I think the last of ice vehicles will be the high water mark of supercars.

SF90 is AWD and gets instant electric torque.

The latest family saloon from Tesla will probably beat both these cars in a drag race, if that matters.

Personally, I consider the 765LT to the last & greatest pure ICE supercar from McLaren. All hybrids from hereon, and the next super series will beat both 765LT and SF90 with ease in a straight line.

I think the Lambo had a weight disadvantage caused by excess chest hair and medallions...

Lambos don't require a 765LT to look silly...
