Hi all, new to the Ferrari world and reading up on a potential future F430 purchase. Looking at circa £70k, so the lower end of the scale. Will definitely be getting a PPI from an Indy or main dealer. Looking for initial thoughts / comments above this car. Thanks in advance.

It looks sensibly priced. Some will say it is worthless with 30k+ miles....but it is not!
Not everybody likes black on black - but i think it works well on the 430.

If you have not already done so - have a good look around the AV Engineering website. There are some good model related articles about reccurent issues and costs in general.

I was looking at these a year ago, but did not find one i wanted enough. The market was pretty split as usual. Unrealisticaly priced cars in the 80 to 90k range sat on the market for ages - but good cars were changing hands pretty fast when priced correctly.....as always. Good luck - great cars.

Very precise engine torque figure in that ad - 342.98lb/ft.

Quite an annoying advert. Appreciating asset, in no rush to sell blah, blah. If that's the case, then why is the asking price less than when they sold it 2 years ago and why have they reduced the price since it has been for sale this time?

Anyway, I have a little bit of history on it. PM if you want me to send you a copy. Note that it has had 9 owners which may or may not be an issue.

Thanks. Not often a black car fan, but I agree that it looks particularly good on the F430. A little less in your face Ferrari!

Thanks. Yes I agree with you on the advert; its actually a little bit of a pet hate for me, when I read for sale adverts and descriptions. Why do they people fill them full of rubbish and not even cover the basic car and ownership details!!

I’ve not made any queries on this yet, but the number of owners means it’s a no-go for me. The mileage is less of an issue tbh. May the search continue! Once lockdown has eased, it will be easier to go a look at some cars. Thanks.

I own a black on black 430 and it looks lovely. Black seems to suit the 430 which can’t be said of the 360 (in my eyes). It is a wonderful drivers car and it slightly pains me to see that I could enjoy most of the same experience for not much more than half the price of my low mileage manual.

Ha! Might be worth a cheeky offer. Do you think they'd take 98p?

Black on black is a bit much for me. I have a Daytona Nero car but softened with crema leather.

As others have said the ad is annoying, eg the F1 box isnt light years better than the F1 in the 360, but it is better.

9 owners on a 16 year old car is not a problem in itself.
